How our delivery service works

If your device is in stock, we’ll despatch it as soon as we’ve processed your orderand send you a text to let you know when you’ll receive it. If your device is out of stock, we’ll contact you to let you know when you’re likely to receive it.  When your order is despatched, we’ll send you a text to let you know when you’ll receive it.

If you order a SIM only package, it will be delivered directly to you by first class mail.

Deliveries to an alternative address

If you’ve chosen to use the Follow My Parcel service for an online order delivered to your home, or to an alternative address, we'll be give you updates regarding you regarding your delivery, so please ensure you enter your correct mobile phone number when you check out.

DPD, our delivery company, will send you a text the day before your order arrives to confirm delivery details. The text will confirm:

  • the day of delivery
  • a link to the DPD website to track your parcel progress
  • an option to  rearrange the delivery date if inconvenient

On the morning of delivery, DPD will send another text to confirm:

  • the one hour scheduled delivery time, (e.g. between 12.24 and 13.24).
  • the name of the DPD driver.
  • a link to the DPD website to track your parcel’s progress.
  • an option to rearrange your delivery if required.

If you’re not home when we try to deliver

If DPD tries to deliver and you’re not there to receive it, the driver will leave a card with details of how to rearrange a delivery time. They’ll automatically try again on the next working day, after which the parcel will be held for a further four working days before being returned to EE.
