The Xbox Series S is a more compact version of the Xbox Series X, with around a 60% reduction in size. It’s also a digital-only console and can’t play physical Xbox games. The Xbox Series S is optimised to run at 1 1440p resolution, while the Xbox Series X offers True 4K resolution.

The Xbox Series S doesn’t have a disc drive. It’s a digital games-only console by default.
