BT and EE are coming together to create the UK’s no. 1 broadband and mobile provider. It means that if you choose to move your broadband to EE you’ll be with the UK’s fastest broadband provider and the UK’s best mobile network. You’ll continue to get everything you expect from BT – engineering, expertise, reliability – along with the innovation and service from EE.

Your broadband and contract will only change when you’re ready to move to new EE.  We recommend moving to new EE so that you can get the best experience from us.

You can choose to move to new EE when you’re ready.  We recommend moving to new EE because you’ll benefit from even better connectivity in and out of the home.

Moving to EE broadband is the same process as if you choose to move to another BT broadband product so we’ll let you know if you need an engineer during the checkout process.

There shouldn’t be any interruption to your service if you choose to move your BT broadband to EE broadband.

You don’t have to switch to EE until you’re ready. For now, you can choose to stay on BT, but we recommend moving to new EE to get the best experience from us.

Broadband: Your broadband will become EE broadband if you choose to move.

Home phone: If you have a home phone with us and would like to keep this when you choose to move your broadband, this will also change to EE, and you’ll need to choose one of our EE calling plans.

BT Mobile: If you have BT Mobile, there is no change unless you choose to move to EE.

BT TV: If you have TV with us, on 6 December 2023 this was renamed to EE TV, but there is no change to your bill, price, or content.

EE & BT Double Data: Available to selected new and existing EE customers on a pay monthly handset plan or selected SIM only phone plans who also have an existing eligible BT Broadband Plan. Both accounts to be registered to the same account holder at the same address to benefit from a double data boost on their registered EE Plan. Double data applicable to all numbers registered on the EE account. Double data applied to core data allowance only. One eligible EE account per BT account. Consumer plans only. You can only have one double data offer per EE mobile account. If either the EE or BT account has an outstanding overdue balance, the double data will be removed. If you are no longer an eligible EE or BT customer, double data will be removed. No cash alternative. May take up to 24 hours to activate. 30% off and Double Data for BT Broadband customers: Existing BT Broadband customers joining EE on a Pay Monthly SIM plan are entitled to a 30% discount on the monthly plan price and double data. Double data applied to core data allowance. This offer applies to the first line on the EE account only. You can only have one double data offer per line. Consumer Plans only. Not compatible with any other offer, unless we tell you otherwise. Both accounts must be registered at the same address. One eligible EE account per BT account.
