EE Yes Boys is a campaign which shines a light on the growing impact of negative online influences on young boys and the vital role football can play in helping them build confidence, identity and resilience.

As proud partner of the Home Nations national teams, EE has launched Yes Boys to provide young boys and their families with the tools and guidance to counteract toxic online voices by helping to build boys up on and off the pitch. 

Research from EE has revealed the scale of harmful online influence shaping boys’ attitudes and behaviour. The study found that boys aged 11 to 16 encounter harmful messages on a weekly basis. EE’s research also highlights the powerful role football can play in helping boys navigate online pressures and the value of football coaches as positive role models. 

Running alongside the EE Yes Boys campaign, EE has launched the Mentor Badge, an online resource providing practical tools for coaches and parents to help them support boys on and off the pitch. It’s been developed in partnership with online safety experts, Internet Matters and includes practical tools to support boys with leadership, body image and language. 

We’ve also partnered with VERSUS, the platform championing the future of football, to tackle the online toxicity facing young boys today with honest conversations around digital safety.
