TNT Sports moved from discovery+ to HBO Max on 26 March. EE TV customers’ TNT Sports channels via the TV Guide are not affected.

After 26 March, download the HBO Max app and use your discovery+ account details to sign in.
If you have an EE TV Box Pro or EE TV Box Edge, HBO Max will automatically be available in your apps rail from launch. If you took an Apple TV 4K box before April 2026, you'll need to download it from the App Store on your set-top box.
If you received an Apple TV 4K box after April 2026, HBO Max will already be installed for you.
The HBO Max app is also available for Android devices. Go to Google Play and search for HBO Max and then download it.
The HBO Max app will also be available on select devices including phones, tablets, computers, TVs, streaming players, and set-top boxes.

HBO Max only supports certain content signed in American Sign Language.
If you are an existing discovery+ Entertainment & TNT Sports customer who subscribed to discovery+ before 26 March 2026, you will retain access to discovery+ Entertainment via EE at no extra cost.
If you have joined EE after 26 March 2026, you’ll need to sign up directly with discovery+. You will pay discovery+ directly, and the charge will not appear on your BT/ EE bill.

You can watch all HBO Basic with Ads content in the Now app. If you want to watch this in the HBO app as well, you need to do the following to activate access to this app: . You can do this by:
- Go to this NOW help page.
- Select Need Help in the bottom right corner.
- Select TV.
- Select Entertainment & HBO Max Membership.
- Select Yes if you have an Entertainment, Big Entertainment or Full Works subscription, or a Now Entertainment & HBO Max extra on your account.
- Select I’m an EE TV customer.
- Select Link my account so I can watch in the HBO Max app.
- IMPORTANT: Select whether you have Now Entertainment & HBO Max as part of your TV package or as add on/extra.
- Select Link Now account - an HBO Max web page opens.
- Log in to HBO Max (IMPORTANT: If you have a TNT Sports subscription, make sure to use the email you use to access this in discovery+ or HBO).
You can now use your HBO Max Basic with Ads subscription across devices in your HBO Max account.
About TNT Sports
You'll need to activate TNT sports on HBO Max. You will be able to do this by selecting activate TNT sports on HBO Max in your EE account and follow the instructions.
Once you’ve created an HBO Max account and accepted the HBO Max Terms of Use, you’ll need to log in to the HBO Max app for the first time.
You can reset your details in the HBO Max app or on HBO Max’s website by selecting Forgot password.
If you want to update the email address linked to your HBO Max account, you can do that in the Account section of the app or website.
From 26 March 2026, your discovery+ log in details will grant you access to your new HBO Max account.
If you have a TNT Sports subscription and an existing discovery+ account, please log in to HBO Max with your existing discovery+ details when you open the app on your EE TV set-top box.
If you have not held a discovery+ account previously, you will need to create an HBO Max account, accept the HBO Max Terms of Use and activate TNT Sports on HBO Max.
