What's changing?
EE TV customers who took out a NOW Entertainment membership before the 26 March will now have HBO Max Basic with Ads included at no extra cost. This membership will now be called NOW Entertainment & HBO Max.
For new customers, the new NOW Entertainment & HBO Max membership will be available upon sign up.

No. After 26 March, existing EE NOW Entertainment customers will automatically move to the NOW Entertainment & HBO Max membership.
HBO only supports certain content signed in American Sign Language.
If you are an existing customer who bought before 26 March, you can retain access as part of your EE TV subscription at no extra cost.
If you joined after that date and want to subscribe to discovery+ entertainment content, you can purchase by signing up in the discovery+ app, but this won't appear on your BT/EE bill.

Answers to NOW Entertainment & HBO Max questions
You can stream HBO Max shows directly in the NOW app in a new HBO Max area, available from launch, or by searching for a specific show or series.
You can also continue streaming live entertainment and kids channels via your EE box. Certain HBO Max shows and series will continue to air on live Sky channels. Some shows and series will be available on demand only.
You can watch all HBO Basic with Ads content in the Now app. If you want to watch this in the HBO app as well, you need to do the following to activate access to the app:
- Go to this NOW help page.
- Select Need Help in the bottom right corner.
- Select TV.
- Select Entertainment & HBO Max Membership.
- Select Yes if you have an Entertainment, Big Entertainment or Full Works subscription, or a Now Entertainment & HBO Max extra on your account.
- Select I’m an EE TV customer.
- Select Link my account so I can watch in the HBO Max app.
- IMPORTANT: Select whether you have Now Entertainment & HBO Max as part of your TV package or as add on/extra.
- Select Link Now account - an HBO Max web page opens.
- Log in to HBO Max (IMPORTANT: If you have a TNT Sports subscription, make sure to use the email you use to access this in discovery+ or HBO).
You can now use your HBO Max Basic with Ads subscription across devices in your HBO Max account.
In the HBO Max app, you will be able to access all of the content from HBO Max Basic with Ads. In the NOW app, you can watch all of this, plus Sky Originals and exclusive US shows.
The continue watching and watch next features do not sync between the NOW app and HBO Max app.
Boost will continue working as normal. When viewing in the NOW app you can keep enjoying your favourite Entertainment & HBO Max shows ad-free, with improved picture and sound quality, and the ability to watch on up to 2 devices at once.
The NOW Entertainment membership is not available to take on EE TV, but you can get all content included and more with NOW Entertainment & HBO Max membership.
At the moment, EE only offer the Basic with Ads version of HBO when buying NOW Entertainment & HBO Max.
