When can I upgrade?
Check your upgrade status in the EE app:
- open the app
- select Manage
- select Mobile & SIMs
- there you'll see your current plan details and options for upgrade
- if you want to proceed, select your preferred upgrade - phone and plan, or plan only
- make your selection for upgrade and follow the steps onscreen.
You'll be able to trade in your device for money off your upgrade as part of that process

- we'll let you know if you can upgrade on that page

- text UP to 150 for free from an EE mobile. We'll reply with a text to let you know your upgrade status and a link to upgrade if you're eligible.

Useful to know
You can upgrade without a fee if you have fewer than 30 days remaining on your plan.
If you’re in the last 100 days of your contract, you can get the latest device with no early upgrade fee if the value of your new plan is higher than your current plan.
If you have taken out a device credit agreement with us, you can upgrade your phone from day 15 of a new plan, you just need to pay off the remaining balance of the device.

Can I change my mind once I’ve upgraded?
Yes, you can cancel your upgrade unless you've traded in your device.
