EE Cyber Security help

Files in quarantine

If EE Cyber Security finds a file that looks like it might be dangerous, it quarantines (separates) it from the rest of your files. That means that even if there’s a virus, other files in your computer will stay safe.

If you find a file which you think is dangerous, you can quarantine it yourself.

Or, if you’re sure a file is safe but Cyber Security has quarantined it, you can bring it back.

Learn how to quarantine files or bring them back at the Norton™ website.

Manage your devices

To manage your EE Cyber Security devices:

  1. Log in to EE
  2. Go to Add-ons and Benefits
  3. Find EE Cyber Security and select Manage
  4. Go to the Device Security tile and hover over View Devices
  5. When View Devices expands, select Manage Licences
  6. The Manage Licences page lists all your devices that have Cyber Security installed. You can review and manage them here.

Change your device names

The Norton™ website explains how to change the names of devices in your EE Cyber Security account.

Remove devices

Before you remove a device from your Cyber Security account, make sure it’s online. If your device is offline, it won’t be removed from Cyber Security until the next time you connect it to the internet.

To remove a device:

  1. Log in to EE
  2. Go to Add-ons and Benefits
  3. Find EE Cyber Security and select Manage
  4. Go to the Device Security tile and hover over View Devices
  5. Find the device you want to remove, and below it press the More options icon (. . .)
  6. In the menu that appears, select Remove Device
  7. A confirmation screen will appear, select Remove

Removing a device from Cyber Security will stop Cyber Security running on it, but it won’t uninstall the software (see Remove EE Cyber Security below). Once you’ve removed the device, you won’t be able to see it on your account.

Remove EE Cyber Security

You can uninstall Cyber Security from all your devices at the Norton™ website. If you’re paying for Cyber Security, call us on 150 to remove the add-on and cancel payments. Protecting your identity and data is crucial, so please only remove Cyber Security if you're installing other security software.
