Once you’ve set-up Charge to Bill, you can make purchases on your iPhone, iPad, Apple TV or Mac. You just need to be signed in with your Apple ID.

Good to know

You need to have an Apple ID before setting up Charge to Bill.

Create an Apple ID and set up Charge to Bill:
  1. 1

    open the iTunes Store and scroll to the bottom to tap on ‘Sign In’

  2. 2

    select ‘Create New Apple ID’

  3. 3

    enter the email address you wish to associate with your Apple ID and then select your country

  4. 4

    enter your information and choose your security questions

  5. 5

    you should now be on the Account Settings screen

  6. 6

    select ‘Mobile Phone’ as your payment type then tap ‘Next’. Your account will now charge all future purchases to your mobile phone

Set up Charge to Bill if you already have an Apple ID:

    go to Settings and tap on your name

    select ‘iTunes & App Store’ and then tap on your Apple ID

    select ‘View Apple ID’ in the pop-up menu

    sign in with Touch ID or enter your Apple ID password

    select ‘Payment Information’ to get to the Account Settings screen

    select ‘Mobile Phone’ as your payment type then tap ‘Next’. Your account will now charge all future purchases to your mobile phone

It's easy for families to add Apple Payments from other phones to a single phone bill.

    go to Settings and tap on your name

  2. 2

    select ‘iTunes & App Store’ and then tap on your Apple ID

  3. 3

    select ‘View Apple ID’ in the pop-up menu

  4. 4

    sign in with Touch ID or enter your Apple ID password

  5. 5

    select ‘Payment Information’ to get to the Account Settings screen

    select ‘Mobile Phone’ as your payment type

  7. 7

    tap ‘Use Different Mobile Number’, enter the mobile number you want purchases charged to and then enter your billing address

  8. 8

    a SMS verification code will be sent to this mobile number

  9. 9

    enter the SMS verification code, tap ‘Done’ and then ‘Verify’

  10. 10

    tap ‘Done’ on the Account Settings screen. Your account will now charge all future purchases to this mobile phone
