How to sell your device

  1. Go to the EE Trade In page.
  2. Select the make and model of your device.

  4. Tell us the device's serial number or IMEI.
  5. Remove all of your accessories and any cases from the device.
  6. Send the device in a pre-paid envelope or print off the returns label and send it in your own packaging.

Find your IMEI number

Your IMEI number is a 15-digit number unique to your device. You can dial *#06# from your device, or you can usually find it in your device settings.

Enter IMEI 1 on the Trade In form if your device has multiple IMEIs.

Find your model details

You can usually find device model details in the General area of the settings app on your device. It will also be written on the original box your device comes in.

Back up and erase all data and settings from the phone. You'll also need to turn off any activation or account locks and remove all PIN codes and passcodes. You should also fully charge up your device so we can inspect it.

Should I include accessories when I send my trade-in?

Don't send accessories with most devices. You can include laptop chargers. We can't return your accessories if you send them with your trade-in.
