In this article, you will learn how to download and log in to the EE TV app as well as how to use EE TV Web Player. The EE TV App and EE TV Web Player are available on a range of platforms so you can watch selected programmes, live channels, as well as rent or buy film and TV shows via the EE TV Store.

About the EE TV App

What is the EE TV App?

The EE TV App is available for iOS, TVOS and Android devices and enables you to browse, watch, buy and favourite selected TV, film and sports programmes.

After you log in, you will be presented with the main 5 areas of EE TV app that you can use, these are:

  1. Home - all the latest TV, films and offers available to you and the top 10 trending must-watch TV and movies.
  2. Sport - whether it's football, WWE, Moto GP, cricket, boxing, rugby or sports movies, this is the place to go.
  3. Live - where you can see what's on now or check the schedule to see when your programme is on.
  4. Store - buy the latest and greatest in film, TV and for kids.
  5. My TV - where you'll find programmes you've part watched, rentals you taken out, TV programmes or films you've bought, things you marked as favourites, your recordings and downloads.
    And, your settings, where you can login, manage your devices, privacy settings, and how you watch EE TV on your mobile.

Getting the EE TV app

Check your device’s compatibility, the EE TV App works with the following devices:

  • Amazon Fire Stick/TV 
  • Amazon Fire Tablet, running Fire OS 5 and above
  • Android* i.e. phone or tablet that runs Android 5 and above
  • Apple TV (tvOS 15 and above) - set up EE TV on Apple TV
  • iOS* i.e. iPhone or iPad that runs iOS 12 and above
  • Samsung TV - 2017 models or newer.

Get the EE TV App from the Apple App Store

 

Download the app and Open the app to complete the setup and then login.

Login to the EE TV App

To start watching programmes on the EE TV App you need to log in using your EE ID or BT ID username and password.

You can either select the My TV button, and then select Log in at the bottom or, you’ll be prompted to log in the first time you try to watch content.

You’ll only need to enter your login details once. The app will remember your details and keep you logged in.

Need to know

Watching live content through the EE TV app on a mobile device will use approximately 100Mb for every 10 minutes of streaming. If you're not on an unlimited mobile data plan, we recommend you limit how much you watch over 3G/4G, and try to use WiFi wherever possible.

About the EE TV Web Player

EE TV Web Player can be used by anyone who has the EE TV subscription and wishes to watch their favourite shows and movies online instead of on TV.

EE TV Web Player requirements

To watch content, browse and buy: you will need a web browser running on Windows 10 and above.

Minimum browser versions: Google Chrome  51, Microsoft Edge 79, Apple Safari 10, Firefox 54, Opera 38.

  • Open your web browser
  • Go to https://player.ee.co.uk/#/home
  • Enter your EE/BT ID login details, the player will remember your details and keep you logged in.

To watch other content included in your TV package you will need to visit the content provider’s app:

  • Netflix, download and use the Netflix App or Netflix.com/gb
  • Now TV, download and use the Now TV App or visit nowtv.com
  • Discovery entertainment, TNT Sports and Eurosport content, visit the discovery+ app or discoveryplus.com
