The legal bit
The monthly price shown, add-ons and all out of bundle charges will increase on or after 31st March every year by the Consumer Price Index rate of inflation published in January that year, plus 3.9%. See ee.co.uk/increase for details. Please note the cost of other services you take from us may increase or decrease while you're an EE customer.
Pre-Order: your contract starts when your order is accepted but your plan will start at (and you will be charged from) the moment we send your new device out to you (i.e. just before you receive it). Device will be sent out within 30 days of launch subject to availability, but we’ll aim to send it quicker than that. Orders placed in store for delivery in store only. Please note that delivery estimates for pre-order & recently launched devices can sometimes change. We will always keep you updated on the progress of your order. You can cancel your pre-order if we don’t send your device within 30 days. If you cancel you will have to pay for services used. Services subject to credit check. Early upgrade fees may apply to existing customers upgrading within their current minimum term....
Stay connected: If you have a capped data allowance (i.e. not an unlimited data plan) once you have used up your monthly data allowance your speed will be capped at 0.5Mbps. You will regain access to our fastest speeds upon (1) renewal of your monthly plan allowance, (2) by buying one of our data add-ons, or (3) If you are gifted data by someone else in your family account. Once the data add-on or gifted data runs out, you will return to the capped speed.
Smart Benefits: Available to Pay Monthly handset, selected SIM and tablet customers on a Smart Plan. Once you’ve chosen, you can change your Smart Benefit thereafter every 30 days. Choose your Smart Benefit at purchase, via EE or by texting 150, for more details go to ee.co.uk/passes We may at any time change the range of Smart Benefits available, the content of Smart Benefits or the minimum length of time each must be active for. Each Smart Benefit may take up to 24 hours to activate. Content Smart Benefits are provided by third parties and the content available may change from time to time. Third party subscriptions may be required.
Netflix: Smart Benefit provides access to Netflix Basic membership (standard retail price usually £5.99). Existing Netflix customers must link their account to their EE plan or else you will continue to be charged separately. If you end your EE plan, Netflix will resume billing via your previous payment method. Netflix service is provided by Netflix and the Netflix Terms of Use apply. Apple Music: Data used will decrement from your plan allowance. Apple Music is for your personal, non-commercial use only. Requires a handset using either iOS 10 or Android 5 or later. Apple ID required. Apple Music has a £9.99/month value. You must not attempt to share, edit or adapt the content made available to you. Content is variable and may be withdrawn at any time. BT Sport: The app is made available to pay monthly customers on a Pay Monthly handset, SIM only phone and tablet plans as a 30 day rolling Add-On. If you’re a 4GEE Wi-Fi customer, including SIM Only, you’re not eligible for the Add-On. To use the app customers must have a smartphone or tablet containing an EE SIM. Devices must use at least Android 4.1 Windows 10 or iOS 9 operating systems. Some in-app functionality is restricted on Windows 10. The Add-On costs £10 a month. To use the app you’ll need a TV licence for the household registered to your EE account. BT Sport is for your personal, non-commercial use in the UK. You must not attempt to share, edit or adapt the content made available to you. It’s your responsibility to ensure that content accessed by under 18s is suitable for those viewing it. Content available via the app may change from time to time. When you download and use the BT Sport app, you will use data that may decrement from your price plan’s inclusive allowance.
BT Sport App with Large Screen: The app is made available to pay monthly customers on a Pay Monthly handset, SIM only phone and tablet plans as a 30 day rolling Add-On. Video Data Pass: Available as a Smart Benefit on plans with a limited data allowance only. Data used whilst streaming and downloading video content on Netflix, MTV Play, Amazon Prime Video, YouTube, BBC iPlayer TV Player, BT Sport, BritBox, YouTube Kids, BBC iPlayer Kids and Twisted Mirror, whilst in the countries included in your Plan allowance will not decrement from your plan’s inclusive data allowance. All other data used when you use the Content Apps will decrement from your plan’s data allowance. You must have some of your plan’s data allowance left else you will be unable to stream content on the Content Apps via your EE plan. The EE Video Data Pass is for your personal, non-commercial use. It’s your responsibility to ensure that content accessed by under 18s is suitable for those viewing it. Content via the EE Video Data Pass may change from time to time. Roam Abroad Pass: Available to Pay Monthly handset, selected SIM and tablet customers on a Smart Plan. Access your standard plan allowances in the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand in addition to the UK. Remember, data fair use policy outside UK of 50GB applies. See ee.co.uk/terms for countries and details. EU/EEA included in Pass from January 2022 (see ee.co.uk/terms for full list of destinations). Allowances last until next bill or until used up, whichever comes first. Allowances don’t roll over. Our stable links policy applies, as set out in the Plan Terms. Once you have used up the allowance, or hit your 50GB fair use amount, standard rates apply as set out in the Non-Standard Price Guide.
Microsoft 365 Personal: Available to customers who have taken a Smart Plan on a Tablet, Laptop or Data SIM on or after 18 August 2021. Smart Benefit provides a subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal. Existing Microsoft 365 Personal subscription will be ceased upon activation of the Smart Benefit and any remaining period of the existing subscription will be suspended until after cancellation of the Smart Benefit. If you remove this Smart Benefit Microsoft will confirm directly when access to the service will cease (taking into account any period suspended from the previous subscription). Your Microsoft account will be disabled for 90 days before being deleted. Once deleted any stored data will be unrecoverable. To reactivate your subscription you will need to contact Microsoft. If you regularly tether 12 or more devices, we will consider this non-personal use and have the right to move you to a more suitable plan. We will consider usage above 600GB/month to be non-personal use and have the right to apply traffic management controls to deprioritise your mobile traffic during busy periods or to move you to a business plan. You can gift up to 100GB. Data usage on an unlimited plan will decrement from giftable allowance. Any data boost allowance will be added to the giftable allowance.
