PlayStation 5 Slim Disc with £70 EE GameCard bundle

The PS5® Slim is a more compact version of the original PS5®, with a 30% reduction in size and an 18% reduction in weight. Despite its smaller size, it offers the same powerful performance, including the ultra-fast SSD, 4K gaming, and support for 120fps gameplay.

Haptic feedback on the DualSense replaces the traditional rumble motors found in older PlayStation controllers with highly programmable voice-coil actuators in the left and right grips. This means the vibrations you feel aren’t just a generic buzz, they simulate specific physical sensations like the texture of driving on gravel, rain hitting your character or the recoil of different weapons. In supported PS5 games, it creates a genuinely more immersive connection between you and the action on screen.

The DualSense’s L2 and R2 buttons feature adaptive trigger mechanisms that create varying levels of resistance and tension depending on in-game actions. For example, you’ll feel the string of a bow grow taut as you pull it back and you'll feel resistance when pressing the brake pedal in a racing game. The feature is supported in many PS5 titles and developers continue to build it into new games. A growing library of PS5 games makes use of both haptic feedback and adaptive triggers.
