FAQs

The PS5 Pro is a more powerful version of the original PS5, with its more powerful graphics processing unit. This provides faster rendering times and improved graphics. The PS5 Pro also has 2TB of storage compared to 1TB in the original model.

The PS5 Pro doesn’t have a disc drive included. It’s a digital games-only console by default but a disc drive can be purchased separately that attaches to the PS5 Pro. This bundle includes the official PlayStation® Disc Drive so you an switch between digital and disc games seamlessly.

The DualSense Edge® has several additional, customisable features, including changeable stick caps and stick modules, adjustable trigger lengths, mappable back buttons, and more.

Much like the base PS5 console model that has a built-in disc drive, the Sony PlayStation Disc Drive can play PS5 and PS4 discs as well as 4K Ultra HD Blu-ray and Blu-ray discs plus DVDs.

Digital games can still be played as normal when the Sony PlayStation Disc Drive is connected.
