The maths behind our maps

All our figures are based on the averages of our last quarter of the year (October-December). 4G coverage is calculated as an outdoor average. Current year figures are based on monthly data as stated on disclaimer.

While our 2020 vision figures indicate ambitions we're confident we'll achieve, they're not set in stone.

In our maps, 4G coverage is indicative. Service may be affected by things like building materials, tree cover, weather conditions or heavy traffic on the network, so these maps are just a guide, not a guarantee of service availability in a particular location. To access 4G you’ll need coverage, a compatible phone and an eligible plan.
