When you first set up your EE TV, you chose to either use Replay to watch programmes you’ve missed on selected channels, or do without Replay and record up to four channels.

  1.  

    Replay lets you record anything that has been on your eight favourite standard definition (SD) channels or six HD channels during the last day. You'll also be able to record up to two programmes at the same time

  2.  

    Restart is available when you have Replay turned on. So, if you tune in halfway through a programme, you can skip back to the beginning

  3.  

    save Replay lets you save programmes available for Replay so you can watch them later 

REPLAY menu

You'll find REPLAY in your EE TV menu.

  1.  

    press MENU on your EE TV remote

  2.  

    go to REPLAY and choose a recommended programme

  3.  

    select ALL REPLAY to browse through your Replay channels

  4.  

    in OPTIONS you can also sort your content so it displays by category or alphabetically

  5.  

    anything you'd like to keep, just press REC on your remote

TV Guide

You can watch Replay TV from your TV Guide.

  1.  

    press GUIDE on your remote

  2.  

    browse to one of your Replay channels – you’ll find a Restart icon to help remind you

  3.  

    move to the left to find content available for replay and press play to watch

From your timeline menu

While watching TV:

  1.  

    press the right arrow on your remote to open your timeline menu

  2.  

    in your Replay channels, the Replay icon shows if the programme is available to watch

  3.  

    use the left arrow to highlight the programme you want to watch and press play

From your channel bar menu

  1.  

    press the up or down arrow on your remote to open the channel bar menu 

  2.  

    find the channel your Replay programme is on, then use the left button to find a programme you want to watch

  3.  

    press play to watch

Restart

If you tune in halfway through a Replay programme you can skip back to the beginning. When you see the Restart icon:

  1.  

    press OK on your remote to see the Options menu

  2.  

    if Restart is available you'll see the Restart icon

  3.  

    press the left arrow to highlight Restart and press OK

  4.  

    EE TV will take you back to the start of the programme

Or

  1.  

    while browsing through your timeline, you'll see the Restart icon

  2.  

    press play on your remote to watch the programme from the start

  3.  

    you'll also see the icon from your channel bar menu and your TV Guide

Keep Replay

You can also keep programmes in your Replay menu to watch later. Press REC on your remote control, or choose the record icon from programme details.

You can also save any programmes showing the Replay icon in your TV Guide, channel view or timeline menu by pressing REC on your remote.

You'll find your programme in the Recordings menu, even when it disappears from Replay up to 24 hours later.

Can I save Restart content?

If you choose to record a programme showing the Restart icon, it will only part record from the moment you press record. 

To record the full programme on one of your Replay channels, wait until the programme has finished. You can then record from your Replay content.

If you do start recording part-way through a programme, then the Record icon on the programme details page will have an exclamation mark in it. The exclamation mark will always display when you record part of a programme.

Turn on Replay and Restart

Turn on Replay and Restart

  1.  

    press MENU on your EE TV remote

  2.  

    go to TOOLS & HELP > SETTINGS REPLAY 

Turn on Replay settings

If Replay is off:

  1.  

    press OK to change settings

  2.  

    choose how long you'd like Replay to record programmes for (6 HOURS, 12 HOURS, 18 HOURS or 1 DAY)

  3.  

    Press OK to CONFIRM

  4.  

    choose which group of channels EE TV will use for Replay, up to six HD (High Definition) or eight SD (Standard Definition) and press OK

  5.  

    select your favourite channels and press OK

  6.  

    if you see a message saying you don't have enough storage, you may need to delete some of your recordings 

  7.  

    select which categories you'd like to filter and press CONFIRM

  8.  

    you can always change your Replay channels later

Check your Replay group and Replay channels

The Replay group and Replay channels you've chosen are displayed in the Replay settings menu.

Changing your Replay group

Replay group lets you change your Replay channels, for example from SD channels (Standard Definition) to HD Channels (High Definition).

Note: It's not possible to play HD content on all tablets or phones. 

If you select this option, you may see a message saying HD channels aren't available for Replay.

Changing your Replay channels

  1.  

    press the down arrow to highlight Replay channels and press OK

  2.  

    remove any unwanted Replay channels to make space for your new channels

  3.  

    choose the channel and press OK to remove the tick

  4.  

    select the new channels for Replay

  5.  

    when you've chosen your eight standard definition (SD) channels or six HD channels, press OK  

  6.  

    if you see a message saying you don't have enough storage, you may need to delete some of your recordings 

  7.  

    your EE TV will start recording programmes, so they're available for Replay
