How long will it take to transfer my number?
Once you’ve submitted an online form asking us to transfer your number, we’ll do the rest.
Remember: we don’t transfer numbers at the weekend or on bank holidays. It’s usually a really quick process:
- submit the form before 5.30pm Monday to Friday, your number will be transferred the next working day
- if you submit the form after 5.30pm Monday to Friday or any time at the weekend, your number will be transferred within two working days
Need to know
There are a few things you might need to do after your number’s been transferred:
- tell your insurer your number’s changed
- update your number by logging in to EE
- call 222 to set up your voicemail
- update the settings in iMessage to show your new number on an iPhone
