Share access to your EE mobile plan

You can share access to your EE mobile plan with someone else on your account. This lets them manage their own usage and add ons without seeing your bill or payment details. This guide explains how to invite someone, and what they can and can’t do once they accept.

Invite someone to your plan

If you’re the account owner, you can invite someone using the EE app.

  1. Go to Manage.
  2. Select People and sharing.
  3. Select the Invite icon.
  4. Choose the mobile number you want to invite.
  5. Share the invite using the QR code or send it using any messaging app that you use, such as text message, WhatsApp or email.

Accept or decline an invite

If you’ve scanned a QR code from the account owner, or received a text message or email invite:

  1. Scan the QR code or open the link.
  2. Log in to the EE app and create an account if you don’t have one.
  3. Accept or decline the invite.
  4. If you accept, go to Manage to see your usage, add‑ons and plan settings.

What you need to know

  • You can’t invite someone who’s on a Safer SIM or a small and medium EE Business plan.
  • You can invite any mobile number on your account.
  • Invites last for 7 days. If one expires, you can resend it.

Once someone accepts, they can:

  • view their own benefits, usage, active add‑ons and parental control settings
  • manage missing or damaged products
  • order replacement SIMs
  • sign up for rewards and discounts
  • top up pay as you go using their own payment method
  • buy add‑ons, monthly subscriptions and roaming passes

They won’t be able to:

  • view your bill or payment details
  • change parental controls, spend caps, data controls or the billing address
  • end the service, request a PAC or upgrade the plan

  • You won’t get a notification if someone buys an add‑on or roaming pass. The cost is added to your bill automatically.
  • You can remove someone’s access at any time.
  • Users can also remove their own access whenever they want.
