How to activate Visual Voicemail
Visual Voicemail is included in your pay monthly plan at no extra charge; however, there may be additional charges if used abroad.

Visual Voicemail is not available on our pay as you go plans.
To activate Visual Voicemail, text:
- Visual ON to 150
- Visual or Visual Voicemail to 150
Once you have the confirmation message, you'll need mobile data turned on and the most up to date EE carrier settings.
How to turn on Visual Voicemail on your device
Once you've activated Visual Voicemail via 150, you'll need to make sure it's turned on on your device.
iPhone
For iPhone, it's already turned on. Once you've gotten the confirmation message after activating via 150, you should be good to go.
Samsung
To turn on in your Samsung device, first make sure your device is on Android 16 or above. Then follow the below steps.
To remove Visual Voicemail
Text VISUAL OFF to 150. We'll text you back once it's removed.
How to use Visual Voicemail
Once activated, your voicemail will look different. You'll be able to view your messages in date order with:
- the phone number the voicemail is from
- the location of the call
- the time of the recording
By using Visual Voicemail you can forward, delete, save, or call back with one button.

Trouble getting started?
If an error occurs while you are setting up Visual Voicemail, switch your phone off and on again and then repeat the activation. If that doesn’t activate Visual Voicemail you can try updating your device software.
