Inserting your SIM

Before you get started, you can find out more here about the different types of SIM card.

Your micro SIM is supplied with the device. First, you need to push it out from the standard SIM (full size) that's provided. Make a note of your 4GEE WiFi number on your Keep Me Card, which can be found on the back of the SIM packet.

Now, simply open the SIM door of your Car WiFi and insert the micro SIM as shown in the steps below. Close the SIM door and you're ready to connect.

It's important to use the right size SIM so don't push it in if it doesn't fit.

If your Car WiFi has no SIM or it has been loaded incorrectly, you should see a SIM warning page when you type in a URL on your connected device. However, if you type the desired URL in the search bar rather than the address bar on your connected device you'll just see a blank page.

If you want to know more about your type of SIM, find out here.

Once you're set up and ready to go, find out how to connect devices.

You'll find the WiFi network name and password on the Keep Me Card - and it's also on the inside of the back cover of the device.

You'll find a number starting with 07 on the back of your SIM pack. Please write it on your Keep Me Card as you'll need it if you want to call us about your device.

You'll need to use a non-dashboard 12v power socket for these car models:

Audi A4L, A5, Q5, A8L
BMW 423, 740
Honda Accord
Skoda Superb, New Superb
Volvo S60, XC60, V60, V40,S80

And sorry, but the Buzzard 2 doesn’t fit into these cars:

Citroen C4L
Fiat 500
Renault Latitude
Suzuki Alto
BMW 318
