What does the ‘network busy’ error message mean?

If you get a "network busy" error message, this means there’s a high volume of use on the network.

A typical reason could be that there’s a major event going on in your area, perhaps a concert or a football match.

it should be a short-term problem, but you may want to try one of the following:

  1. try turning your phone off and on again to pick up the strongest local signal

  2. you could also try our network status checker to see if there’s a known issue, or to report a problem
