Using an eSIM with the Motorola Razr

This article will help you to get, set up an EE eSIM with your Motorola Razr.

Set up your eSIM

If you bought your Motorola Razr from us, you'll get an eSIM pack with a QR code to use to set it up.

To set up with a QR code, first make sure you’re connected to the internet and then:

  • select Settings
  • select Network & internet
  • select Mobile network
  • select Advanced
  • select Carrier
  • select Add carrier
  • use your camera to scan the QR code on your eSIM pack,
  • once recognised your eSIM will automatically begin downloading

If you’ve ordered an eSIM for a SIM only plan with us, you’ll be able to download your eSIM from EE. Simply follow the instructions in your confirmation email. If you’re using the EE app, make sure you’re using the latest version and update it if not.

If you can’t use your old SIM, please contact us so we can swap it over for you. Contact us from any phone.

Can't use the QR code?

Unfortunately, we can't support the manual entry of a QR code on the Motorola Razr: contact us from any phone.

Get a replacement eSIM

A Motorola Razr (2020) purchased from EE should come with an eSIM pack. If you don't have the eSIM don't worry, it's easy to order a new or replacement one:

Using the EE app:

  1. download and open the EE app on your mobile
  2. select Manage
  3. select Mobile & SIMs
  4. scroll to the bottom of the page, select Check settings
  5. scroll down and select Replace my SIM/eSIM
  6. if you have more than one device on your account, select the correct device
  7. select eSIM, which you can download instantly.
  8. select whether you're adding to your current device or a new one
  9. follow the security steps, so we can verify your request
  10. we will then send you your eSIM and instructions

You can also request a replacement eSIM by phone, or by visiting your local EE store - please remember to bring your ID, or verify your ID in the EE app.
