Why do I need to deactivate Find My?
Before returning your Apple device —such as an iPhone, iPad, or Apple Watch— you need to deactivate the Find My feature and erase your content and settings.
If Find My is not deactivated, this can:
- slow down the return or refund process
- could mean you get charged for the device
When you erase your content, Find My and Activation Lock are also turned off.
This must be done to transfer the ownership of your device back to EE.

On Apple Watch
