Get an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate on EE
Any customer using the EE app can purchase an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate subscription using their debit or credit card, and you can cancel anytime.
If your pay monthly plan for Android includes Inclusive Extras, then with any eligible plan purchased from 17 August 2022, you can add Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as one of these. Unless you remove this, it will be available for the duration of your contract.
Alternatively, text Xbox to 150 to add Xbox Game Pass Ultimate to your phone or SIM plan.
Buy an Xbox Game Pass as a monthly subscription
To buy Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as a monthly subscription that you pay for on your card and can cancel at any time:
- log in to the EE App
- go to Shop > gaming
- select and check out Xbox Game Pass Ultimate
- activate the subscription within 5 days
Get an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as an Inclusive Extra
To select Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as your Inclusive Extra on an eligible All Rounder or Full Works mobile plan:
- log in to EE, or download or open the EE app
- go to Manage
- go to Mobile add-ons
- select Entertainment
- follow the steps to add Xbox Game Pass Ultimate

What if I get an Xbox Game Pass Ultimate as an Inclusive Extra when I’m paying for it?
If you’re currently subscribed to Xbox Game Pass Ultimate through your EE device or broadband, we’ll automatically cancel this if you choose it as an Inclusive Extra.
However, if you’re paying Microsoft directly, your existing pass will be upgraded to ‘Ultimate’. You can continue using this, and when it expires, you’ll switch to our Xbox Game Pass Ultimate and will no longer be charged by Microsoft.
Using your Xbox Games Pass Ultimate
To install games from Xbox Game Pass Ultimate, simply navigate to the Xbox Game Pass section on your console, select the game, and choose download to console.
Xbox Game Pass Ultimate can be used on Xbox Series X or S and Xbox One consoles, PCs, and phones and tablets via Xbox Cloud Gaming. Download the Xbox app on your preferred PC, mobile, or tablet device and follow the steps to enable Xbox Cloud Gaming.
Managing your subscription
Use the EE app to manage, cancel, or update your subscription and payment card. If you cannot access the app, call us on 0800 0790 062. You can log into the EE app anytime to manage your subscription.
