Before you start
Before you set up your TV Box Pro, make sure your broadband is up and running.
The best way to watch EE TV is to connect via Ethernet or stream over WiFi. You’ll be able to watch High Definition (HD) channels when streaming online, where available. You can also connect the TV Box Pro using an aerial.

Using SPDIF audio with your service
The Sony/Philips Digital Interface (SPDIF) is a fibre-optic audio system that connects your TV box to any compatible sound system. So, you can enjoy high-quality digital audio - uncompressed audio or 5.1 or 7.1 surround audio - to accompany your TV viewing.
To connect your TV box to your sound system, you will need your own fibre optic (Toslink) digital cables.
The SPDIF port is at the rear of your TV Box Pro, between the analogue audio out port and the yellow Ethernet cable port, as shown in our step-by-step setup guide.
