Watching Prime Video
You can use Prime Video on most EE TV boxes and other devices:
- EE TV Mini and Pro tv boxes
- smartphones, tablets, computers and other supported devices.
- you can use Prime Video on many devices at once.
- However, older EE TV recordable boxes do not support the app. Contact us to upgrade to a newer box.
You can sign in to Prime Video with an existing Amazon account. Enter your Amazon login details in the Prime Video app on your EE TV box.
Prime Video streaming quality
Prime Video content is available in Standard Definition (SD), High Definition (HD) and Ultra High Definition (UHD). You'll need a 4K recordable TV box or TV Box Pro to watch in UHD.
About broadband usage
Streaming Prime Video may affect your broadband usage:
- watching on EE TV does not count towards your broadband usage.
- watching on other devices connected to your broadband does count.
- unlimited broadband packages are not affected
- streaming may slow down your internet if other devices are using it at the same time.

Parental controls
EE TV and Amazon both offer separate sets of parental controls:
- EE TV asks for your parental PIN when you open Prime Video
- Amazon may ask for its own PIN when you watch content
- Amazon uses the same PIN across all devices
- if you don’t set an Amazon PIN, purchases can be made by anyone with access with one click

Watching Prime Video on multiple devices
You can watch Prime Video on more than one device:
You can use it on another EE TV box or any supported device.
Amazon limits how many screens can stream at the same time – check your Amazon Prime Video subscription for details.
Managing your Prime Video account
You manage your Prime Video account through Amazon:
- Prime Video is a monthly subscription paid in advance.
- EE TV doesn’t offer Prime Video as an add-on - existing customers with the add-on can keep it unless they remove it
- rentals and purchases appear on your Amazon account, not your broadband or mobile bill
Changing or cancelling your Prime Video plan
You can change or cancel your Prime Video plan:
- Billed through Amazon? Change or cancel your plan at www.amazon.co.uk.
- Billed through BT or EE? you can cancel your existing add-on through My BT or the EE app, or by phone. There is no cancellation fee.
- We will refund unused days on your existing add-on if you switch to Amazon billing mid-month.
- You will still have access to Prime Video until the end of your billing period.
Moving home or cancelling EE TV
Your Prime Video access depends on your EE TV service:
- If you move, you keep access as long as you keep EE TV.
- If you cancel EE TV, Prime Video access ends the same day.
- We will refund unused days on your bill.
- You cannot re-add Prime Video as an add-on once removed.
