- How do I get the Apple Music six-month offer?
There are several ways to activate the Apple Music offer, available exclusively to EE customers:
Via text code to 150
For six months’ access to Apple Music, plus the data on us text MUSIC to 150. Reply YES to the follow up text message (make sure you have the bill payer’s permission) and you will receive further instructions on how to activate and enjoy your offer.
Via My EE
You can also add the Apple Music offer to your account via My EE, in the add-ons section.

- What happens after the six-month offer period?
We'll text you in the final month of the offer to let you know that you'll be moving onto a paid subscription in the following month. The monthly cost of £9.99 will automatically be added to your EE plan at the end of the offer period if you do not cancel. The data you use after the six month offer has ended will come out of your allowance.
- If you opt to cancel within the six months, you’ll continue to have free access to Apple Music until your next renewal date, which is on the monthly anniversary of the service being added to your account. We’ll let you know via text when that date is and again on the day offer expiry.
- If you opt to cancel after the six month offer has ended, your subscription will end at your next monthly renewal date, which is on the monthly anniversary of the add-on being added, and you will have full access to Apple Music until that date. Note, if at the time of cancellation, you have not already been billed for that period it will be charged in full on your next bill.
- Who's eligible for this offer?
If you're an EE customer with a pay monthly, 12 month SIM only, tablet or data SIM plan, you're eligible. If you’ve already had an Apple Music offer through EE, you can’t get it again.
However, if you continued to subscribe to the Apple Music service with EE or have an Apple Music subscription directly with Apple, you’re entitled to six months of streaming for Apple Music, on us. Just text STREAM to 150 or log in to My EE and go to the 'add-ons' section.
- What if I have an existing Apple Music subscription?
If you currently have a subscription for Apple Music directly with Apple, this will need to be cancelled in order to enjoy Apple Music membership through EE. To do this, you can follow the guidance here or alternatively call Apple directly on 08001076285.
- Will the data streaming still be free if I travel abroad?
It depends where you go: anywhere your plan allows inclusive roaming, which means all EU countries and, if you’re a Max plan user who upgraded or joined after 10 May 2017, the USA, Canada, Mexico, Australia and New Zealand. If you're roaming in a country that isn't included in your price plan, you'll need to buy a data add-on in order to stream on the app. See ee.co.uk/roaming for countries currently included in your plan.
Please note that whilst streaming on the Apple Music app during the six month offer period won’t affect your data allowance, the content available on the app may differ between countries due to entertainment rights agreements.
- The legal bit
Apple Music Membership with data streaming on us: Offer available to customers with EE pay monthly or SIM only phone plans. Individual Apple Music Membership is free for 6 months and for 6 months, data used whilst streaming/downloading from Apple Music whilst in the countries covered by your plan's inclusive data allowance will not decrement from your plan’s data allowance. 6 months’ data streaming not available to Business Connect customers. You must have some of your plan’s data allowance left else you will be unable to stream or download music using mobile data. If you’ve already benefitted from our six months’ free Apple Music Membership offer you’re ineligible for this offer but may be entitled to 6 months Apple music Data Streaming on us. After 6 months, membership automatically renews and you’ll be charged £9.99 a month and data used will decrement from your plan allowance. You can cancel at any time. If removed from your account during the first six months, you’ll be unable to get the add-on again free of charge. Requires a handset using either iOS 8.4 or Android 4.3 or later. Apple ID required for full functionality. Apple Music is for your personal, non-commercial use in the UK only. This offer is non-transferable.
