You need to ensure you've set up your BT ID:
If you've never had a BT ID, you'll be asked to set one up and create a password. You can use this BT ID to log in to the BT Sport app about 10-15 minutes after sign-up.
If you already have a BT ID (this will be your email address), you'll not be asked to create a password in the sign-up process for the BT Sport app. Instead you'll receive an email from BT with instructions to link the BT Sport app to your existing account.
Once you've followed the instructions in the email, you'll need to wait at least 10-15 minutes for your BT Sport account to fully activate before you can log in to the app. Your BT Sport account may take up to 24hrs to activate, so please be patient.
If you've followed the steps above and you're still seeing this error message appear, you'll need to call us as there may be a problem with your account:

This error code means that you've already registered for BT Sport in the past or your EE mobile number is linked to another BT account. You may also see this error code when porting a BT mobile number over to EE and the transfer hasn't completed yet.

If the BT Sport app doesn't work:

If you don't receive a validation PIN, make sure you've entered the correct phone or tablet number in the first step of the set-up process. If you still don't get a PIN:
If you receive your validation PIN but it's not approved, you'll need to make sure your browser isn't timed out. If you're still experiencing problems then open a separate browser on another device and set up your BT ID again by taking the link we sent you via text message and putting it directly into the address bar of your browser.
Your BT ID hasn't finished linking to your BT Sport service which means it's not ready for you to use yet. Please be patient and try the BT Sport app again shortly.
If you haven't added BT Sport to your account:
This indicates that your EE account may be suspended or cancelled.
If this is the case, you'll need to speak to EE directly:

Try these steps to fix the issue:
This error message will show on Apple iOS devices.
