How to change your EE Direct Debit date or details

Learn how to change your EE Direct Debit information. You can change your bank account or adjust the payment date for your EE Mobile or broadband bills.

Change your Direct Debit payment date

To change your Direct Debit payment date, follow these steps:

Using the EE app

  1. Download and open the EE app on your mobile
  2. select View my bill
  3. select the account you want to change the Direct Debit for
  4. scroll down to Manage your bill and payments
  5. select Manage your Direct Debit date
  6. choose your new Direct Debit date from the dropdown list
  7. select Change payment date

 

Using the EE website

  1. log in to EE online
  2. go to Bills and payments
  3. select the account you want to change the Direct Debit for
  4. select Manage your Direct Debit
  5. choose your new Direct Debit date from the dropdown list
  6. select Change the date

 

When you change your Direct Debit date

Changing your Direct Debit date changes the date we produce your bill. How it impacts your next bill depends on whether you're making your bill's date earlier or later than your original date.

Earlier: If your new bill date is before your next regular bill:

  • you are credited for any days you paid on your last bill that fall after the new bill date
  • you are charged for your full month's service from the new bill date

Later: If your new bill date is after your next regular bill:

  • you'll be charged the full month in advance for your next bill as normal
  • your new bill is then produced on the new date
  • you are credited for any days you were already charged for, that fall after the new bill date
  • you are charged for your full month's service from the new bill date

Change your Direct Debit details or account

To change your Direct Debit account details, follow these steps:

Using the EE website

  1. log in to EE online
  2. go to Bills and payments
  3. select the account you want to change the Direct Debit for
  4. select Manage your Direct Debit
  5. select Change Direct Debit
  6. Fill out the form with your new details
  7. Select Save

Want to pay with another account?

If you want to pay with another bank account that's not your own, you'll need to call us on 150 from an EE phone or on 0330 123 1105 from any phone to set it up. Both parties will need to be on the call.
