Using your Digital Home Phone features

If you have Digital Home Phone there are lots of new features to enhance your service, from diverting incoming calls when you’re busy or don't want to be disturbed, to help in dealing with those irritating nuisance calls.

Caller Display

With Digital Home Phone, our free caller display should show you the number that’s calling.

If you've added the caller to your phone address book, you should also see their name.

Voicemail

Voicemail is available to all Digital Home Phone customers. It answers and records calls when you're away from the phone or busy on another call. You'll know you have a message in your mailbox if your dial tone sounds a bit different when you pick up your phone.

Your Digital Home Phone handset's display will show you how many new Voicemail messages you have.

To listen to your Voicemail messages

Voicemail can store up to 20 new messages for 60 days, or for 30 days after you've listened to them.

Pick up messages from your mobile

You can also link Voicemail to your mobile. First, you'll need to set up a PIN from your Digital Home Phone handset by choosing Option 3 on the Voicemail menu. Once your PIN's set up, we'll text you whenever you receive a Voicemail.

To check your messages when you're out and about, just dial your home phone number, press Star, and enter your PIN.

  2. Press 2 from the main menu to set a personal greeting
