About EE Trade In
Which devices can I trade in?
EE Trade In gives your cash for old phones, tablets, wearables, games consoles, laptops and Apple Mac computers.
How do I sell my device through EE Trade In?
Start your trade in at ee.co.uk/trade-in.
- Select the make and model of your device.
- Answer some questions about the condition of your device. We'll ask about any damage so we can give you a more accurate quote.
- Tell us the serial number or IMEI number for the device.
- Remove all of your accessories and any cases from the device.
- Send the device in a pre-paid envelope or print off the returns label and send it in your own packaging.
- Once we've inspected your device and everything matches, you'll get paid.
What's an IMEI number? How do I find it?
Your IMEI number is a 15-digit number unique to your device. You can dial *#06# from your device or you can usually find it in your device settings.
Enter IMEI 1 into the Trade In form if your device has more than one.
How can I find my model?
You can usually find device model details in the General area of the settings app on your device. It will also be written on the original box your device comes in.
Which iPhone models can I trade in?
You can search iPhone models eligible for trade in at ee.co.uk/trade-in. You can also get cash for Samsung, Google and Oppo phones with EE Trade In.

Getting paid
When will I get my trade in payment from EE?
We'll send your payment once we've finished inspecting your device and you'll usually get it within 2 working days. You'll get an email to let you know when the payment is on its way.
What should I do if I haven't recieved my payment?
We'll always email to let you know when there's been an update. If you can't find updates from us, send an email to eeconsumer.uk@likewize.com with your trade in details.

Using EE Trade-In
How do I remove Apple iCloud, Google, Samsung accounts from my device?
Any manufacturer account locks need to be removed before you can trade it in. The instructions will be different for each device but we'll send you an email with some general guidance. You can also find more detail in our How To guides.
How long is my quote valid for?
Your quote is valid for 14 days. If we recieve your device after the expiry date, we'll send you a revised offer based on the trade in value at that time. Email us at eeconsumer.uk@likewize.com if you need more time.
What happens if I don't send my device in time?
If we recieve your device after the expiry date, we'll send you an updated quote. If you need more time, please contact us at eeconsumer.uk@likewize.com.
How can I accurately determine my trade-in device's condition?
The Trade In form will give you tips on what to look out for. Generally, devices with signs of wear and tear are ok but we'll give your device a full inspection to make sure.
If your device is in a different condition than we've quoted, we'll give you an updated quote. If you reject our updated quote we'll send your device back to you free of charge.
Shipping and packaging
How do I send my device to you?
We'll email you a label to print and attach to your trade in. If you don't want to print a label, you can request a pre-paid returns pack. You'll need to drop your trade in at a Post Office.
We'd also recommend keeping your proof of postage and making sure your chosen postage includes insurance for the value of your device.
What if my device gets damaged or lost in transit?
Your trade in is insured up to £150 with Royal Mail using our pre-paid returns pack. Royal Mail offers other postage options with insurance up to £750.
How should I get my device ready to trade in?
Back up and erase all data and settings from the phone. You'll also need to turn off any activation or account locks and remove all PIN codes and passcodes. You should also fully charge up your device so we can inspect it.
Should I include accessories when I send my trade in?
Don't send accessories with most devices. You can include laptop charges.
We can't give your accessories back to you if you send them with your trade in.
