- if you're using our app on an iOS device and are having issues with your PIN or fingerprint and face recognition, you'll need to check your device's security settings
- if you're using our app on an android device and are having issues with your PIN or fingerprint recognition, you'll need to check your device's security settings
- if you've tried entering your username and password incorrectly too many times your account will be temporarily locked
- we may have locked your account for security reasons
- if one of our staff helped you create your account and you didn’t click your registration link within 3 days or, if you created your account during an online purchase but didn’t log in within a week, you’ll need to create a new ID. To do this head to our login page and follow the Create account link.
EE is asking me for a passcode when I log in
If you're asked for a passcode when you sign in, it means that there may be something unusual about your login attempt. This may be because:
- you’re signing in from a different device
- you're signing in from a foreign country
- there has been an unusual number of login attempts on your account
It’s an extra security step to keep your account secure. To access your account, copy and paste the passcode that we'll send to your EE ID email address or mobile number. If you can’t find the email straight away, check your spam folders.
