EE account is locked

This article explains why your EE account may be locked and how to unlock it quickly, ensuring uninterrupted access to your services.

Unlock your EE account

You could be locked out of EE because you, or another account holder, tried to log in incorrectly too many times.

Temporarily locked

Your account will be locked temporarily if you’ve entered an incorrect username or password too many times.

Wait 20 minutes, and you’ll be able to try again. If you continue to have problems, you can reset your password.

Locked for security reasons

Your EE ID may be locked if we’ve got concerns about the security of your account.

If this happens, we’ll email you to let you know, and our security team will call you to help you get back into your account.

EE says that my account is at risk

If you’ve tried to log in to EE and received a message saying your account is at risk, someone else may have tried to access it. For your protection, we’ve locked your account so nobody can get in.

To unlock it, you need to reset your password by following the instructions on the screen.
