Register a credit or debit card on your EE account

This article shows how you can add a credit or debit card to your EE profile. This will let you pay your pay monthly mobile or broadband bills, top up your phones, and more using your chosen card.

 

To add a card to your EE profile, you need to pay a minimum of £1 towards your bill or mobile credit with that card. When you pay, save the card to your profile with a name to help you remember it. You can do this in the EE app or online using the EE website.

Using the EE app to register a card

Follow these steps and have your card details to hand:

  1. download and open the EE app
  2. select an account to make a payment for
  3. select see your full bill
  4. scroll down to Manage your bills and payments
  5. select Make a payment
  6. enter a payment amount, there’s a minimum of £1
  7. enter your card details, and your house number and postcode
  8. select Save this card to my profile
  9. give your card a name so that you recognise it for later use
  10. select pay now

Need to know

If you need to remove an old card, follow the same steps to register your card. But when you get to your payment options, choose to remove this card for the old card and save this card for the new one.

Using the EE website to register a card

To register a card through the EE website:

  1. login to EE online
  2. select Bills and payments
  3. scroll down to Manage your bills and payments
  4. select Make a payment
  5. enter a payment amount, there’s a minimum of £1
  6. enter your card details in the form, including your house or flat number and postcode
  7. select Save this card to my profile
  8. give your card a name so that you recognise it for later use
  9. select pay now

Call us to register a card on your account

Call 150 from your EE phone, or 07953 966 150 from any other phone, to talk to one of our guides. They can add a card to your account.

The next time you want to make a payment, your card will be available as an option and will be shown with the name you gave it.

Using your registered card

You card can be used to make a payment:

  • to top up a mobile by text
  • to buy add-ons for a pay as you go mobile
  • to pay your pay monthly mobile or your broadband bill

As you go through the process of paying, you will be able to select your registered card as the form of payment.
