  • the letters CR
  • the last 4 digits of your registered credit or debit card number
  • the amount you want to top up, between £5 and £95
  • for example, to top up £10 with card ending in 1234 text CR 1234 10

Remember to include spaces between each set of digits.

We’ll text you to confirm that your top up has been successful.

Top up by phone

You can top up your own mobile by credit or debit card, top up someone else’s phone, or redeem an E-voucher by calling us. We accept Visa, MasterCard, and Maestro UK credit and debit cards, as well as international credit and debit cards.

  1. Call 150 from the EE device you want to top up - have your payment card or details to hand
  2. Select option 1 for top up and follow the payment instructions.

When you call for the first time, you must set up a 4-digit PIN. This will help make topping up faster and more secure.

If you need to reset your PIN, call 150 from your EE phone, select the option to top up by card, then follow the instructions.

Calls cost 25p per call on pay as you go if you choose to speak to an EE Guide to top up.

Top up using an E-voucher or E top-up card

An E-voucher is a card or receipt printed with a unique 16-digit voucher number and is valid for EE accounts for 6 months. You can buy them from EE stores. E top-up cards have 13-digit numbers. You can buy E-voucher cards from more than 100,000 shops around the UK or anywhere you see the green top up logo.

Find your nearest E-voucher store:

To top up with an E-voucher:

Text 150 with VO,  then a space and then the 16-digit voucher number, for example, VO 1234567891234567.

Link an existing E top-up card to your device:

Text 150 with ETU, then a space and then the 13-digit E top-up card number for example, ETU 1234567891234. To top up, choose an amount, between £5 and £50 in £5 increments. Your E top-up card will be swiped, and the amount added to your card.
