Physical description of device

Setup instructions
Simple steps to get your 5G WiFi setup and running:
Insert your SIM card
- Remove the battery cover.
- Remove the battery.
- Push forward the SIM Slot metal cover and lift it to open it.
- Insert your nano SIM into the SIM pocket.
- Close the metal cover and push back to close.
- Put the battery back up.
- Replace the battery cover.
Charge up the battery
- Connect the USB-C cable to a 5V/3A charger or a USB port.
- Connect the USB-C cable to your 5G WiFi.
- Once charged, press and hold the power button until your 5G WiFi turns on.
Getting online
Ensure your 5G WiFi is switched on and connected to the network
On the device you want to connect to the internet, go to the network settings and search for your 5G WiFi network name. (See the Keep Me Card).
What the power light means on your 5G WiFi

![]() | No light Press the power button to wake your device from its power-saving mode, or press and hold the power button for 3 seconds to power it on. You may need to charge your device if the battery is fully drained. |
![]() | Aqua If you can't get online, it might be your device. Hold down the power button for 10 seconds to reboot the 5G WiFi. |
![]() | Flashing Aqua Give it at least one minute to connect. The light will turn aqua when your 5G WiFi is ready to use. |
![]() | Red Using the power button, turn on your 5G WiFi off and on again (hold for 10 seconds). |
![]() | Flashing Red Check if your SIM card is inserted correctly. You may be out of a range of a signal, so try moving the 5G WiFi to a different location for a better signal. |
![]() | Flashing Green Wait at least 2 minutes for it to turn aqua. If it stays green, turn your device off and on again. If the light still doesn't turn aqua, use a paper clip to press your device's factory reset button for 10 seconds. |

Forgotten your password?
If you cannot remember your password, you can reset it to factory default by gently pressing the Reset button with a paperclip for 10 seconds. Follow the instructions to set it up again.
The default password is on your Keep Me Card.
Disposing of your old electrical and electronic equipment
To help protect the environment, the UK Government requires that electrical and electronic equipment is not disposed of with general household waste. Instead, it should be collected separately and handled in an environmentally responsible way.

As the environment is important to EE, we can get rid of it in an environmentally friendly way.
If this equipment replaces something similar, then you can also dispose of your old kit by following the instructions above.

Unless you bought it outright, the equipment remains the property of EE. If you cancel your service, you’ll need to return the equipment within 60 days to avoid being charged.

Safety notice and care instructions
Your EE62D from EE is manufactured to comply with European safety standards. Please read the following instructions carefully before installing and using it.
Storage Environment
- Do not place magnetic storage media such as magnetic cards and floppy disks near the wireless device. Radiation from the wireless device may erase the information stored on them.
- Do not put your wireless device and other accessories in containers with strong magnetic field, such as an induction cooker and a microwave oven. Otherwise, circuit failure, fire, or explosion may occur.
- Do not leave your wireless device in a very hot or cold place. Otherwise, malfunction of the products, fire, or explosion may occur.
- Do not subject your wireless device to serious collision or shock. Otherwise, wireless device malfunction, overheat, fire, or explosion may occur.
Care and maintenance
- Treat all parts with care; no shock or vibration, and don’t pull or twist any cables.
- Dust with a soft dry cloth; don’t use water or solvent.
- Regularly check that objects don’t cover any parts or any vents that could cause overheating.
- When not in use, store in a dry place and away from extreme heat or cold.
Warnings
- Do not attempt to open the battery (due to the risk of toxic fumes and burns).
- Do not puncture, disassemble, or cause a short circuit in a battery
- Do not burn or dispose of a used battery in household rubbish or store it at temperatures above 60°C (140°F ).
- Do not place batteries into a microwave oven, or into any other high pressure container.
- Do not store batteries near an oven, stove, or other heat source.
- Do not immerse batteries in water or otherwise get them wet
- Do not touch leaking batteries directly; wear protective material to remove the batteries and dispose of them properly immediately.
- The device should be installed and operated with a minimum distance of 20 cm between the radiator and your body.
- Keep the device in a well-ventilated and cool area away from direct sunlight. Do not enclose or cover your device with towels or other objects.
- When disposing of the device, the battery should be removed and disposed of separately.
Only use the battery for the purpose for which it was designed. Never use damaged batteries or those not recommended by EE Ltd. and/or its affiliates
