Free Boost

Buy one of our packs to get all the minutes, texts and data you need every month. Every three months you get a Free Data Boost (to your data, minutes or texts to use in the UK and the while roaming in the EU). The longer you stay, the more data you get. Choose your pack > 

After you’ve bought three 30-day packs or 12 seven-day packs, you can choose one of these Free Boosts to increase your pack allowances – it’ll be added to your next pack and every pack (of the same duration) after that:

What is a Free Boost?

The longer you use EE pay as you go, more your allowances grow. You can boost your talk or data allowance when you buy three 30-day packs, or to your text and talk allowance when you buy 12 of our 7-day packs. And the best thing? You can do it again and again and again. So the more packs you buy over time, the bigger your monthly allowances become.

There are different boosts depending on how you use your phone. If you like to talk then you can choose a free boost to your minutes. If you’re a big data user, you might prefer a free data boost with our 30-day packs. It’s our way of saying thanks for staying with us. And it’s your best way of getting loads of what you love, every month.

30-day packs (with unlmited texts) Choose either: extra 500MB, 50 minutes

You’ll get a text when it’s time to choose your Free Boost and then you need to:

    text either BOOST DATA, BOOST MINS or BOOST TEXTS to 150 free from your EE phone

  •  

    log in to My EE > 

  •  

    look in the My EE app (download it from your phone’s app store)

Getting more Free Boosts

You'll keep getting Free Boosts as long as you keep buying packs.

For example:

  • 1

    You buy three 30-day packs (£5 or above)

  • 2

    You choose a 500MB data Free Boost after the third pack

  • 3

    You buy three more 30-day packs

  • 4

    You choose another 500MB data Free Boost after the sixth pack

  • 5

    You now have 1GB of free data, on top of your normal pack allowance

To keep track of your Free Boosts:

  •  

    log in to My EE

  •  

    look in the My EE app (download it from your phone’s app store) the option Free Boost

  •  

    text BOOST to 150

We’ll also text you to let you know when you can choose your next Free Boost.

Gaps between packs

You don’t need to buy your packs one after another to get your Free Boost – if you have a gap between packs we’ll pause counting and carry on as soon as you buy your next pack. You’ll get your Free Boost as soon as you’ve bought three 30-day packs or 12 seven-day packs.

You have 60 days to choose your Free Boost

You have 60 days to choose your Free Boost. We’ll text you to tell you when you’re eligible again, so you don’t miss out. 

Changing packs

If you change from a 30-day pack (£8 or above) to a seven-day £1 pack or to a £5 pack, or vice versa, you’ll lose any Free Boosts you have and will need to buy the required number of packs again to get another Free Boost.

Also, if you buy a 30-day £5 pack and change to any other pack or vice versa, you’ll lose any Free Boosts you’ve earned.

Free Boosts on international packs

You can’t use Free Boost minutes and texts to call or message outside the EU from the UK. However, you can use Free Boost data for video calling to get in touch with friends or family abroad.
