Disney+ on EE TV

This article explains how to find and use the Disney+ app on EE TV boxes. The app is available on selected EE TV boxes, making it easy to watch all your favourites.

Disney+ on EE TV

You can find the Disney+ app in the apps rail and apps page on your EE TV Box Pro and EE TV Box Edge. It can also be downloaded on Apple TV 4K through the Apple App Store.

To watch Disney+, you’ll need to:

  • Sign up directly with Disney+.
    Visit the Disney+ website or app to create an account and subscription.
  • Access the Disney+ app on your EE TV box.
    Open and log in to the Disney+ app on your EE TV Box Pro or EE TV Edge set top box.

Disney+ is not included in any EE TV packages or available as an EE Mobile add-on. Your Disney+ subscription is managed directly by Disney, not EE. Billing, account changes, and cancellations are handled through Disney+.

Apple TV 4K (Disney+ is already available)

Need to know

You can't get the Disney+ app on our older TV boxes. If you'd like to get a new set top box, please call us on 0330 123 1105.

Watch Disney+ on EE TV

You'll find the Disney+ app on the main app screen on the TV Box Pro, TV Box Edge and Apple TV 4K box.

Once you have a compatible box and an active Disney+ subscription:

  1. Select Disney+.
  2. Select Log In with your Disney+ account.
  3. Scan the QR code provided, or go to disneyplus.com/begin and enter the 8-digit code shown on your TV.

 

About parental controls

If parental controls are enabled on your EE TV box, you'll be asked to enter your PIN before the app opens.  For more information, see Using your EE TV PIN.

Seeing Error 36 when watching Disney+?

A small number of customers may see Error 36 when trying to play content in the Disney+ app. If you get this error code, a factory reset of your EE TV box should resolve it. Here are the steps to do a factory reset.
