EE Power Bar recall

    Updated 29 February 2016

A big thank you to everyone who has returned their Power Bars so far. We really appreciate your help. If you’ve still got your Power Bar, it’s not too late to return it to one of our stores and we’ll dispose of it safely.

The offer of a £20 accessories voucher in exchange for the recalled Power Bar expired on 28 February. However, our advice remains not to use them, but to return all Power Bars to an EE store at your earliest opportunity.

You can use our store finder to find your local store. For those unable to get to an EE store, please call 150 from your EE phone or, for non-EE customers, get in touch.

    Thanks again for your help.

    What's the issue?

We’ve identified a very small number of incidents where Power Bars have overheated. As a safety precaution, a full recall of all batches of the Power Bar was issued on 16 December 2015.

How do I know if my Power Bar is subject to the recall?

All Power Bars are covered by this recall.

    What should I do?

We’re asking everybody to stop using Power Bars and unplug them from their phones or tablets and the mains. You should return the Power Bar to an EE store as soon as you can.

    Where is my nearest store?

You can find your local EE store here.

How do I get a replacement?

At the moment, we are fully focused on the recall and we will make further announcements soon.
