About Breathing Space

Breathing Space is a debt respite scheme designed to ease the pressure and stress of being in debt.

Your debt advisor has told us you’re on Breathing Space, so we’ve paused your outstanding bill to give you time to pay.

We won’t add any interest or late payment charges while you’re on Breathing Space. If you get reminders about your balance, don’t worry – they don’t apply while you’re on Breathing Space.

What you need to do

While you’re on Breathing Space, here’s what you need to do to keep everything running smoothly:

  • keep making your regular payments
  • keep getting debt advice or stick to your agreed debt solution
  • let your debt advisor know if anything changes in your situation

If you don’t follow these steps, your debt advisor may need to end your Breathing Space.
