Understand your first mobile bill

New to EE? Learn what’s included in your first mobile bill—from airtime and add-ons to Flex Pay and payment options. Find out how to view, manage, and request your bill in different formats, all in one place.

Your first EE phone bill

You can check your first bill in the Manage area in the EE app or online 1-4 days after placing your order. We will send you a paper bill within 7 days.

Download the EE app for your device, it's the easiest way to manage your account.

Airtime plan

Your first bill will cover:

  • your monthly plan charge: the standard monthly cost of your plan, charged a month in advance
  • add-ons: for example, Xbox Game Pass, TNT Sports or for roaming
  • equipment charge: an initial payment or delivery fee for your device if bought with Flex Pay

Flex Pay

If you purchased your device using Flex Pay, you’ll have two separate payments coming out of your bank account each month:

  • one for your airtime plan
  • one for your device, also known as your device credit agreement or Flex Pay payments

We'll send you a copy of your device credit agreement which will confirm:

  • the number of payments you’ll have to pay off your device
  • the amount you'll pay each month
  • the date payment will be taken from your account

Within 24 hours of placing your order, you can check your Flex Pay payment details in the Manage section of the EE app or through the EE website

We renew your plan’s allowances each month on the same date as your airtime bill.
