Why is my EE Broadband bill higher than usual?

This article explains unexpected charges on your EE Broadband bill to help you stay in control of your costs.

One-off broadband charges

If your broadband bill is higher than usual, it could be due to one-off charges. You can easily check your charges in the EE app:

  1. Open the EE app (or download it if you haven’t already).
  2. Select Manage.
  3. Select Billing.
  4. Choose your broadband bill.
  5. Check your latest bill and charges.

Your broadband bill may include extra charges if you've:

  • upgraded your plan
  • added another product or service
  • changed your bill date

Other charges could be for:

  • engineer work like connecting a new line
  • new products you've added
  • if we don't receive your full payment within five days from us sending a red reminder bill
  • if we lift outgoing call barring from a Digital Home Phone line
  • if we restore service to a line that was temporarily barred
  • if an engineer comes to your home to complete work like moving your socket

To see all broadband costs, check the EE Home Price Guide online.

Each year, we adjust the prices of our products and services. You can find details of the current changes on this page.
