Reduce my bills and manage my spending

If you’re struggling to pay your bill, it’s important you let us know as soon as possible so we can support you.

Check what's included in your plan

It’s a good idea to find out what’s included in your mobile plan and what services you might be paying extra for.

Check your plan costs:

  • pay monthly price plans
  • pay monthly SIM Only price plans
  • calls to numbers beginning 070, 09 or 118
  • non-standard charges

For example, if photo messages aren’t included in your mobile plan you'll be charged extra for sending them. To reduce these costs, you may need to try sending fewer photo messages or get an add-on.

About data usage

You’ll use data if your device connects to the internet over our network.

Things like normal browsing and email only use a small amount of data, whereas others like watching videos, running apps in the background, sending messages through WhatsApp or messenger, using sat nav on your device or playing games online can use significantly more.

You can’t go over your data allowance. We’ll text you when you’ve used 80 per cent and again when it runs out. There are no hidden charges.

Ways to reduce mobile spending

You could consider turning off your device’s ability to switch to mobile data when out of Wi-Fi range.

A Spend Cap can help you limit usage outside of your monthly allowance by restricting your use of services like roaming and photo messaging, so you can stay in control of your bill. We’ll text you if you're close to reaching your cap.
