Got a message about Spend Caps?

We are changing how we manage some services. As you have reached your Spend Cap limit previously, we wanted to make you aware of some changes you may notice in the future.

What's changed?

Previously, if you went over your Spend Cap limit when on a call, you could continue with the call and we would text you once the call ended, to explain you had reached the limit. In future, if you reach the Spend Cap limit or the next minute of your call would exceed the limits, the call will be disconnected immediately.

Also, you will be unable to make a call if the first minute of that call will exceed your Spend Cap limit. You will need to increase your Spend Cap to be make further chargeable calls.

How can I change my Spend Cap?

You can change your change, pause or remove your Spend Cap:

  • In the EE app go to Mobile Plan > Settings Spend Cap
  • Log in to the EE app and go to Account Settings > Manage plan > Spend Cap
  • Text SPEND CAP to 150
  • Call 150 from your EE phone
