This article is about how Saver Plan for pay as you go makes it easier to add money to your phone. It helps you save money, manage payments easily, and stay connected without problems.

About Saver Plan

You can get 10% off any pay-as-you-go plan each time you pay, and there’s no need to remember to top up to get your plan. Set up a Saver Plan card payment, and your plan will renew automatically, for less!

You’ll keep all your Free Boosts and any Data Rollover from previous plans if you switch to Saver Plan card payments.

You can pay with Visa and MasterCard credit and debit cards. It isn't a Direct Debit. You can change or cancel your payments at any time. We'll keep you up-to-date on upcoming payments and any additional actions you may need to take.

Set up Saver payments:

  1. download or open the EE App or log into EE online
  2. select Set Up Direct Card Payments. You can also choose a plan here if you don't already have one
  3. choose an already registered card or register a new card
  4. make your first payment and start using your device

Vesta, our payment partner, manages payments. On your bank or credit card statement, it'll appear as Vesta EE Top Up, along with a free 0808 helpline number.

Do you already have a card registered for payments?

If you have already registered a payment card to your account, you can:

  • text PLANS to 150
  • call 150 from your EE mobile

The difference between Saver Plan and recurring card payments

Saver Plan is the simpler way to pay; such a payment will directly buy your chosen plan (you can change this plan at any time).

Paying with a card or a recurring card payment means a chosen amount will be taken from your card and added to your available credit each month. This credit can then be used to buy plans or add-ons. No plan discount is given for recurring card payments.

Both of these payment methods can be changed or cancelled at any time and they are not Direct Debits.

Charges for card payments

There are no charges for any type of card payment, and using card payments won’t cost any more than buying plans or add-ons from your top-up credit.

However, when you pay with a credit or debit card, you must have sufficient funds available. Your bank or credit card provider may charge you if you don't.

Changing your pay you as go plan

You can easily change your pay as you go plan. Simply buy a new plan online or through the EE app, and it'll start when your current plan expires.

Or to start your new plan right away:

What if my payment card expires?

If you’re paying for your pay as you go plan with card payments, we’ll text you a reminder shortly before your payment card expires and another when it has expired.

You can manage your payment cards when you're logged into EE online. You can change the expiration date, remove a card, or check your saved credit or debit cards' details.

What if my allowances run out?

If you use all your allowances (data, minutes or texts) before your plan renews, you can buy a new plan to start immediately:

If you’ve run out of one type of allowance, such as data, you can buy an add-on:

Cancelling your pay as you go plan

You can cancel your pay as you go plan at any time:

How to stop or cancel a card payment

  •  download or open the EE app to cancel your plan or remove the payment card log in to ee.co.uk
  • text STOP PLAN to 150
  • call 150 from your EE mobile and use our automated service

Getting a refund

You have 14 days from the day you first use your card to tell us you don't want to pay for a plan or add-on using this method.

We'll then cancel any plans or add-ons you've asked for using your card. However, you'll still be required to pay for any services you used during your cooling-off period. If you change your mind about a plan or add-on you bought after the cooling-off period give us a call on 150 from your EE mobile.
