Call Barring on Digital Home Phone

This article helps you with Call Barring, so you can block specific types of outgoing calls on your Digital Home Phone.

Call Barring for Digital Home Phone using the EE app or website

Follow these steps to manage call barring online or through the EE app:

  1. Download the EE app for Apple or Android or login to EE online
  2. Select Plans and Subscriptions
  3. Select Digital Home Phone
  4. Select Call Barring. You will see a list of all call types
  5. Next to each type of call you wish to bar click the tick box
  6. Scroll to the bottom and press Save

To get to the Calling Features menu, from the home screen, press Menu then Select. Use the up and down navigation buttons until you get to the Calling Feature that you need.

In Calling Features:

  1. scroll to Call Barring and press Select
  2. set up will be highlighted. Press Select
  3. when you want to change any Call Barring settings, you will need to enter your PIN. Type it in
  4. select OK to save your changes

You will hear a recorded message confirming that you have barred certain calls.

Call Barring from another phone

Before you start, ensure your phone is set to tone dialling.

To bar all calls to your phone: dial *261#

To check if you are already barring incoming calls: dial *#261#

To stop barring all incoming calls: dial #261#

Outbound call barring

To block certain types of outbound calls from your Digital Home Phone, enter these codes through your keypad, and you will need your handset PIN:

  • All calls except emergency calls setup: *341#
    to cancel: #341*PIN#
  • All international, national and mobile calls setup *342#
    to cancel #342*PIN#
  • All international calls *343#
    to cancel #343*PIN#
  • All operator calls *344#
    to cancel #344*PIN#
  • All calls to access codes for setting up call services setup *345#
    to cancel #345*PIN#
  • All calls to premium rate numbers setup *347#
    to cancel #347*PIN#
