What is a Good as New phone?
A Good as New phone is a phone that was returned to us within the 14-day cooling-off period.
This usually happens when a customer changes their mind shortly after purchase.
What condition is it in?
Good as New phones have been used very little and are close to new condition.
Unlike refurbished phones, they have never been repaired for a fault.
This means your phone will be:
- Free from scratches and visible marks.
- Checked to make sure all features work as expected.
Your returns and warranty cover
14-day cooling-off period
You get the same 14-day cooling-off period as with a new phone, so you can return it if you change your mind.
Review our returns policy (PDF).
If you cannot complete a return online, contact us, and we will help you with the next steps.
Free repairs or replacement
Your Extended Warranty covers manufacturer faults for the lifetime of your plan, until you upgrade or leave EE.
This is longer than a standard manufacturer's warranty.
An extended warranty is available if you:
- Are a new or upgrading customer.
- Take a Pay Monthly phone, tablet, laptop or watch plan.
- Buy directly from EE.
- Keep your account up to date.
The warranty covers the original phone supplied by EE. If it develops an electrical or mechanical fault during normal use, we will repair it free of charge.
For full details and exclusions, please review our Device Care Extras terms and conditions.
