Device Usage on your EE WiFi

Device Usage lets you monitor the time that a group of devices spends online. Device Usage is a feature only available with the Smart Hub Plus and Smart Hub Pro and can be turned on from the Broadband section of the EE app found under Manage.

Turning on Device Usage

Get the EE app.

Once downloaded:

It’ll take about 24 hours after turning it on for data to show.

You will see both the last day and the last 7 days of activity.

Turning off Device Usage

Turning off Device Usage will delete your data history from this section.

Devices included in Device Usage

Device Usage only counts everyday devices like phones, tablets, laptops and games consoles.

It only counts the time the device accesses the internet, for example when you go to use an app or streaming service.

So, it won’t count the general connection of a device to the WiFi.

Your smart home gadgets, like lightbulbs, kitchen gadgets and doorbells, won’t be included.

Your privacy

You must let someone know if you are monitoring their device and the time they spend online.

Look at our privacy policy for more information.
