Orange - how to get u24

  • EE
  • Orange
  • T-Mobile

You just need to prove you're under 24 years of age.
If you're an existing Orange customer, you can go to any EE retail store with one of the below proofs of ID and they'll get U24 added.

Not the account holder, but still under 24?

No problem. If you're not the account holder, but are under 24 years old and have your own separate phone, you can still take advantage of U24. You need to be a named user on the account for your phone.

  •  If you're a named user on the account, go to an EE store with one of the below proofs of ID and they'll get it added.
  • If you're under 16, you'll need to take the account holder along with you and you'll both need proof of ID from the list below.

Proof of ID

We'll only accept photographic proof of ID.
For the account holder:

  • Passport
  • Driving licence

For the named phone user:

Start using U24

Once you've signed up to U24, it'll be added to your account within five days or sooner. You can check if it's added by logging in to My EE. Until then your allowance will be reduced or you’ll be charged.

Checking which numbers are on Orange and T-Mobile

You can check if your numbers are on the Orange or T-Mobile network on the U24 app.

Free U24 app

The app will check the numbers on your phone to see which ones are on either Orange or T-Mobile. It'll then create a copy of your phonebook within the app and mark all those numbers that are on Orange or T-Mobile with an orange or pink symbol. It's available to dowload on Android, BlackBerry and Apple iOS.

Downloading the app

You can text U24 to 247 and we'll send you a free text with a link to download the app. You'll need a mobile internet or WiFi connection.

The U24 app is also available for download in the following places by searching Orange U24:

  • App Store on iPhone
  • App World on BlackBerry
  • Google Play on Android smartphone

You can use the app to check your contacts every seven days. So from the first time you check your phone book, you'll need to wait seven days before you can do it again. You’ll see an arrow in the bottom right hand corner of the contacts page when you can next do this or you’ll get a message when you open the app telling you that you’re now able to check. We’ll tell you when you can recheck your contacts when you open the app or with an arrow symbol in the bottom right hand corner of the contacts page.
