Changing how you pay your mobile phone bill

This article describes how to setup or change Direct Debit and other methods to pay your EE Mobile bill.

How do I set up or change a Direct Debit?

Direct Debit is the easiest way to pay your mobile bill and it comes at no extra cost, but there are other ways to pay your bill if you need to change your payment method.

It's easy to set up or change your Direct Debit online or over the phone.

What other payment methods can I use?

You can also pay your bill using:

  • credit or debit card
  • internet or telephone banking
  • Google Pay or Apple Pay
  • PayPal

How do I pay by credit or debit card?

We accept payment by these credit or debit cards:

  • Visa
  • Visa Debit
  • MasterCard

To make a payment by credit or debit card:

  1. Open the EE app
  2. Go to Manage - Bills & Payments
  3. you can choose to pay part or all of your bill
  4. we’ll confirm your payment by email and it'll also show in your Payment history in your EE account after about 15 minutes

To add or remove a credit or debit card:

  1. Open the EE app
  2. Go to Manage - Bills & Payments
  3. view the cards you’re using and make a change

When you're paying with a credit or debit card there are a few things to know:

  • you can only remove cards three months or more after they're added
  • to add a new card you'll need to make a payment with it
  • to change the expiry date on a card, remove it and re-add it
  • you can't make a payment when your account has been closed

Want to pay by text?

If you're not logged in to EE and have saved your card details with us, you can.

Simply text PAY to 150 and follow the prompts. Please make sure you have your registered card with you.

How do I pay by internet or telephone banking?

To pay your bill by internet or telephone banking, you'll need:

  • EE bank account: 31012304
  • EE sort code: 40-02-50
  • Payment reference: your EE account number

Please allow at least five working days for your payment to reach us.

To make a payment from abroad, you'll need:

  • Swift code: MIDLGB2110C
  • IBAN: GB95MIDL40025031012304
  • Reference: your EE account number

Need to know

If you pay by Direct Debit, credit or debit card, internet or telephone banking, you’ll see EE on your bank statement for your payment.
